Winter Breeze Vodka Cocktail

Winter is hands down my favourite time of the year. And so is this winter sea breeze vodka cocktail recipe. Especially if you live in Bombay, you know how much Mumbaikar’s appreciate an escape from this torrid Bombay heat. Winter is not only my favourite because of this amazing weather, but the parties that follow. As we all know, having horrible drinks would make any party a low blow. So save yourself the trouble of expecting great drinks at parties, and instead, leave your expectations to us to make your party a hit as well as your drink.

Since I’m a huge fan of Chrismas, I couldn’t help but sing to a Christmas carol or two (okay, maybe 4) while reminiscing the festival and making this festive-looking winter breeze vodka cocktail. It’s perfect for winter-time and is the perfect combination of bright, bubbly, tangy and crisp, with the right amount of vodka to knock you out.

Out of everything this year, the best time I had was Christmas. Since I couldn’t share this recipe with you all then, I am sharing it now to relish whatever winter-time we have left, and bid adieu to this wonderful season with this spectacular drink.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml vodka (1/8 cup)
  • 30 ml grapefruit/cranberry juice (1/8 cup)
  • 15 ml tonic syrup  (2 tablespoons)
  • 60 ml soda (1/4 cup)
  • 12 pomegranate seeds
  • 3 mint leaves (for garnish)

Directions

Add the juice, tonic syrup and vodka and stir.

Our suggestion – Use tonic water (regular) if tonic syrup is unavailable. This winter breeze cocktail can be made with several other juices.

Add ice to the glass, garnish with a few mint leaves, add the pomegranate seeds and enjoy! Don’t forget to share our recipe on facebook. Do give us your valuable feedback
