For starters, this drink is fun. fruity and fresh. Along with the kick of 2 different types of rum (white and dark), the tropical juices give the Chang’s Mai Tai a fruity kick. It’s strong but sweet, and one is not enough! This Chang’s Mai Tai is a rum-based drink and tastes best with only that and no substitute. Truly a classic cocktail with perfectly blended citrus flavours. Lime, orange curacao, tropical juices along with light and dark rum. What more could one want? It’s like a vacation in a drink.

This drink takes very less time and it’s relatively easy to make. This classic Chang’s Mai Tai isn’t something you should miss out on. A classic Mai Tai drink is very popular worldwide and is prepared at a lot of bars. Being a regular on most bar and restaurant menu’s, it isn’t hard to miss, but we suggest it be prepared by following our instructions first and make it almost like an activity.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot Dark Rum
  • 1 shot White Rum
  • 15 ml Orange Curacao
  • Tropical Juices (orange, pineapple)

Directions

Add all the ingredients except the dark rum to a cocktail shaker with crushed ice and shake well until blended. Strain and add the drink to a glass with fresh ice and add the dark rum on top. Serve chilled and enjoy!
