Gin Green Tea Cocktail

Ever thought your daily dose of green Tea can be in a cocktail? It sure can. This Gin Green Tea Cocktail, It is filled with subtle green tea, citrus and refreshing mint that really just compliment the gin, and it’s truly the star of the show. This drink is very light on the stomach, and one won’t realise when to stop. On making this cocktail, the flavor of green tea, that too chilled, was just as good as it tastes when hot. In the last few days of warm and hot weather, cold drinks are a must. This hot weather calls for drinks like these, and with the soothing flavours of Green Tea and lemon, this Gin Green Tea Cocktail is a favourite of Green Tea lovers.

Ingredients

2 green tea bags

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh mint (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (1 lemons juice)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime/mosambi juice (1 limes juice)
  • 1-2 shots gin

Add honey to sweeten if desired.

Directions

in a heat proof mug add the two tea bags and the cup of boiling water. Let the tea bags seep for 10 minutes. Dispose of the tea bags and let the tea cool.

Fill two glasses completely with ice cubes. Divide the fresh mint, Gin, fresh lemon juice and fresh lime juice to the two glasses.

Fill the drinks the rest of the way with the green tea. Serve chilled and enjoy!
