Or dare we day… FAIL MARRIAGES? It’s no surprise that certain celebs all over the world have had their fair share of short (sometimes very short) marriages. Yup, not relationships, but marriages! Here are some of the Shortest Celebrity Marriages – and very well planned ones at that too!
1. Drew Barrymore and Jeremy Thomas (30 Days)
Before her marriage to Tom Green, Barrymore had an even shorter and even weirder marriage to bar owner Jeremy Thomas. She was only 19 at the time. Drew Barrymore found a last-minute minister to marry them at 5 am at the groom’s bar! With such a “strong” beginning, it’s not so surprising the marriage didn’t last! Also, the young beauty was only 19 at the time. Cut her some slack! Definitely one on the list of Shortest Celebrity Marriages.
2. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries (72 days)
Kim Kardashian West and Kris Humphries had a marriage that lasted no more than 72 days. This marriage (and divorce) was easily one of the most talked about celebrity relationships ever, but if you need a refresher; here it is: Reality star Kim K said yes when NBA player Kris Humphries got down on one knee in May 2011.
3. Britney Spears and Jason Alexander: 55 Hours
Back in 2004, Britney Spears the renowned pop star tied the knot with her childhood friend Jason Alexander after partying in Las Vegas. Despite the fact that the marriage immediately made headlines all over the world, it lasted a mere 55 hours before it was promptly annulled. Oof! What happened in Vegas… made it to our list one of the Shortest Celebrity Marriages of all time.
4. Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon: 60 Days
The “Baywatch” star married Salomon (who, by the way also famously co-starred in Paris Hilton’s sex tape) in Las Vegas in October 2007. It was a wedding that lasted less than 10 weeks. Anderson then filed for divorce because of “irreconcilable differences”. Who would’ve thunk they would make it anyway?
5. Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray: 5 months
The famous One Tree Hill ; hit TV show stars Bush and Murray met and fell in love on the set in 2003 and married two years later. but Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray’s unfortunately marriage failed within five months. Why, you ask? Murray reportedly had another lady on the scene, leading Sophia to file for annulment! Sheesh. What an item they were! But now on the list of the Shortest Celebrity Marriages.
