We all have grown to love Murli – Munnabhai played by Sanjay Dutt in the early years of 2003. But can you imagine if beloved Murli was to be played by Shahrukh Khan? That just totally changes the whole movie! To be honest, any other way than that is just WRONG! Honestly, Shahrukh Khan made a huge mistake because of the wonderful opportunity he missed out. Although, Sanjay Dutt is and always be the real Munnabhai!
Shahrukh Khan in Slumdog Millionaire
Shahrukh Khan has often expressed his desire to win an Oscar. While Slumdog Millionaire was made, however, it must’ve been a hard pill to swallow for King Khan. Anil Kapoor however, did a fabulous job in the movie. Imagining someone else play the role? believable. But not the truth!The movie went on to win eight Oscars in total, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Bravo!
Jennifer Lawrence in Twilight
The Hunger Games star – Jennifer Lawrence also auditioned for the role of Bella in twilight. Unfortunately,she lost the role to Kristin Stewart. One thing to note is that, if JLaw was to play Bella’s role in Twilight – we wouldn’t have seen her on the big screen for The Hunger Games! Reese Witherspoon in Clueless
While Alicia Silverstone blew everyone’s mind away with her perfection, Reese Witherspoon was the closest choice to play Cher in the movie. However, everyone settled on Alicia and we can see why! There’s no one we’d rather imagine taking this Iconic Movie Role – That almost went to other actors.
Hrithik Roshan in Swades
The role of Mohan Bhargav was first offered to Hrithik Roshan.He then refused the movie after reading the script. Shah Rukh Khan was the next choice. The movie amassed what could easily be called a cult following after it released. Poor Hrithik! I’m sure this was a hard pill to swallow.
