The video has gone viral, being shared across several social media platforms including Twitter. The audience is shocked that such an easy DIY can help them in these times. No mask? No problem!
In the clip, the woman who posts under the username @safiaaggoune teaches us how to make this easy, unique and fun face mask. Protection, but in a fun way! After all, all we have these days is time.
Step 1
Start by taking the sock. Turn it upside down. The toe part should be up – at the top.
Step 2
FOLD the toe end over, making sure it’s touching where the heel is. Use a pair of scissors to cut along the fold. Remove the toe piece of the sock.
Step 3
After discarding the toe piece, the next step is to cut all the way down the side of the sock that doesn’t have the heel. Then, open up the piece of fabric into a rectangular shape.
Step 4
The fourth step sees her folding the piece of fabric in half along the heel part of the sock. A long straight edge should form. And one that should have a bump in the middle.
Step 5
Finally, the last step! Turn the fabric so that the bump is facing down. After that, makes two incisions. These incisions should be along either of the smaller sides. This will create the straps to hold it on the face.
