Sushant started off when Ekta Kapoor gave him his first break. On a television soap – Pavitra Rishtaa. Doing seemingly well, the show hit high ranks. But that’s not all. During the show, they started having an affair. Co-star, Ankita Lokhande. The two began living together shortly after the show ended. Marriage was in the talks as well. We don’t exactly know what went down. But, he left Lokhande soon after they decided to get married. As soon as he got his first big break in Bollywood (Kai Po Che and M.S. Dhoni, The Untold Story). For which he received stellar performance reviews. Lokhande got depressed for a year. She didn’t work. Rajput then moved on to dating other celebrities like co star Kriti Sanon (Raabta) and Rhea Chakraborty.
He hung himself in his Bandra apartment – where Mumbai Police found his body. The young actor was depressed. Upon calling Lokhande and telling her about his death, she just said “What!” and cut the phone. It obviously must have been hard. RIP to another great actor – gone too soon.
