Lime-Cucumber Tequila Margarita/Cocktail Drink

2019 has almost literally just started. You want to keep your New Year’s Resolutions still intact? So do we. That’s why we’re here to help you with yet another recipe, that will keep your hard work at the gym still in check, with no sugar, healthy juices to keep you fit and loyal to your diet.

In constant battle with eating healthy, I lose when it comes to tasty cocktails. I literally always give in. Trying to watch my weight, working hard at the gym? nah. This is where I lose myself, but after a lot of research and time spend into curating these near-perfect cocktails, I haven’t gained an inch of weight. Always remember, health foods are something that never go out of trend. I’m practically on a juice cleanse with this cocktail, and you’ll see why. (Also, along with the juice cleanse, a lil‘ bit tipsy, hehe)

Ingredients are easy. Way too easy. All you’ll need is cucumber, tequila and lime juice. Just these 3 things. Also, a juicer/blender to prepare. A sieve will do too

Ingredients

Cucumber Juice 90 ml

Lime Juice (half/full lime)

40 ml Teqila (or as per your requirement)

Directions

To make the cucumber juice, add it to the juicer/mixer and blend until smooth. If using a sieve, mash until smooth. Add the tequila and lemon juice, and you’re done!

Do’s and Dont’s

  • Make sure the skin is properly peeled from the cucumber as the skin is bitter.
  • Add agave nectar if you like sweet cocktails
  •  Our suggestion – Add a hint Orange Juice to the mix if you’re a fan of citrus fruits, to give it added taste, but it is good as it is.

That’s it! all it takes is 5 minutes. Serve chilled and top with a cucumber slice, add contents to a tall glass and enjoy.
